Client Rights
As a client of the Croatian Care for the Aged Association Inc (CCAA) you have the right to:
be treated with dignity and respect
be treated in a non discriminatory and fair manner
have cultural and religious needs respected
make decisions and have choices
be provided with information
involve an advocate to support you or to speak on your behalf
to refuse services.
Client Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include the following:
to respect a decision made by the CCAA when the reason for a decision has been negotiated with you, explained and understood
to recognize that funding for the services is provided in the context of rules that CCAA must adhere to
to respect the rights of other CCAA clients.
Client Rights to Privacy, Confidentiality and Access to Personal Information
As a client of CCAA services you have the right to privacy, confidentiality and access to personal information which is securely stored. No personal or service delivery information is to be provided to other agencies without your consent. You or your representative may gain access to the files and can request copies of the information contained in the files.
